Cabo Verde Enduro All Mountain

Day 1: Meet the riders at Mindelo airport, the island of Sao Vicente. 15-minute transfer to our hotel in Mindelo. Evening meal together and walk around Mindelo. We sleep in the superb Terra lodge Mindelo. http://www.terra-lodge.net

Day 2: Leave for the port to catch the morning ferry which will take us in one hour to the island of Santo Antao. Arrival at Porto Novo, load the luggage on the bus and one hour transfer to our hotel on the north coast of the island. Unpack and reassemble the bikes, a light meal and departure in our shuttle bus to the heights of the island, a descent from 1200m to 500m for this first run of the week. Evening meal in one of the village restaurants which serves island specialities. We sleep in Ponta do sol pension. Different bars with music. Difference in altitude +100m-700m

Day 3: 50 mins transfer to the Lagoa plateau at 1400m then across part of the plateau with crop fields and gravel singletracks encountering local inhabitants on our way before we descend into the Joao Alfonso valley on a superb mountainside singletrack typical of the island. Then we reach the first villages and their sugarcane plantations, which produce, among other things, the local rum, Grog. Meal in Ribeira grande village.Than second shuttle to the plateau we take à nice trail in pin forest to Corda with nice wiews and then finisch in the valley. We sleep in Ponta do sol. +300m-2400m

Day 4: Transfer to the village of Pico Da Cruz at 1500m. From there, we'll take trails and singletracks along a ridge with great views of the nearby island of Sao Vicente. Then we descend the north slope on a spectacular single track to Janela directly in the seafront. Short transfer to Ribeira for the dinner and transfer to Cova de Paul and his switchbacks. We ride the Paul valley and stop in Vila das Pombas for the evening meal and sleeping in our Pension. +300m-2900m

Day 5: Transfer to Marocos 1600m with the jeep, from here we take à double tracks with nice views and a nice single tracks to Figueiras valley where we stop for the dinner in à local family. After that, we ride to the end of the valley and take a nice trail along the coast with amazing views of the coast. We finish on a superb beach before taking the shuttle. Transfer to Cha de Morte where we sleep in à family house. +400m -1600m

Day 6: Transfer to the Norte plateau that we cross over using trails and singletracks passing local inhabitants and their mud houses on our way, a magical place, we ride the plateau with single tracks and take the spéctacular trails Bordeira de Norte with many switchbacks to Cha de Morte where we stop for the dinner. After that's transfer to Alto Mira valley, we take a superb trail up and down to the sea or other option from alto Mira we go back to Ribeira das patas valley with à nice trails. We sleep in Cha de Morte. +400m -1400m 

Day 7: This morning, transfer by jeep to the south and the port of Porto Novo where we catch the ferry back to Mindelo. Lunch in Mindelo and visit of the town, afternoon for shopping or beaches. Tonight last beer or cocktails in Mindelo with différents music bars. We sleep in the superb Terra lodge Mindelo.

Day 8: This morning, last breakfast in the superb terrasse of the Ecolodge, last time in the pool, we pack the bikes and short transfer to the airport, bye and obrigado! End of the Cabo Verde Enduro All Mountain trip
